VMWare Player 2.5, WMWare Server 2.0

No mouse within Win2K3 after converting from Microsoft image to VMWare image.

Solution is used from different website:

The real problem ist the VirtualPC MouseDriver.
After remove from Registry the VMware Mouse Driver runs fine.

Delete the msvmmouf from UpperFilters at this path in the Registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\4D36E96F-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318\UpperFilters

  2. Do you have an update for VMware that works in windows 7 and for new version of Linux?
